Webster’s dictionary defines faith as “belief and trust in and loyalty to God.”
Let’s be real. Belief that God exists is one thing. Trust and loyalty is a whole new level. Many of us call ourselves Christians, yet live contrary to God’s word.
Are we scared to trust the Lord as evidenced by our lack of obedience to his word? Do idols in our lives keep us from spending enough time “hearing” God’s word to build the type of faith that changes lives.
Faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of God.
How much time do you spend “hearing” through the word of God vs “hearing” through the rest of the world?
What keeps you from strengthening your faith?
