This was hard for me to come to grips with. Really hard. I love Jesus. I really do.
Don’t I? By this standard from scripture, I am to obey his teachings if I love him.
But. . . How can I obey his teachings unless I know his teachings?
How can I know his teachings unless I study his teachings?
How can I know and study his teachings without reading the Bible and listening to sound scriptural teaching.
I need to study his word and hear his teaching to know what to obey. To really love Jesus.
